James M. Renihan (Ph.D., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is Dean and Professor of Historical Theology at the Institute of Reformed Baptist Studies at Westminster Seminary California in Escondido, California. He has served in the pastoral ministry at churches in Massachusetts and New York, and is the author of a variety of articles published in American Baptist Quarterly, The Banner of Truth, Evangelical Times, Reformed Baptist Theological Review, Baptist Review of Theology, The Gospel Witness and others. His is editor of Daily Treasure: 366 Daily Readings from the Treasury of David; Denominations or Associations: Essays on Reformed Baptist Associations; and Covenant Theology from Adam to Christ. His doctoral dissertation will soon be published by Paternoster Press under the title: Edification and Beauty: The Practical Ecclesiology of the English Particular Baptists, 1675-1705.
