Some professing Christians are drifters and wanderers. They fail to support one church with enthusiasm or consistency. They have never faced up to believers’ baptism. This book explains how, when coming face to face with Christ’s command to be baptised, believers are immediately confronted by the responsibilities of church membership. Dare we play fast and loose with the commands of Christ? Erroll Hulse is editor of the bi-monthly magazine Reformation Today. Pastor Hulse is widely travelled as a conference speaker and has over thirty years of pastoral experience. Revised by Bill James
'The booklet is written in a clear and logical style and is well produced. It should be a great asset to pastors and elders in their work of "discipling" and as they seek to prepare believers for baptism and church membership. It will also prove useful in the area of apologetics and helpful to the inquirer who is seeking to discover the Baptist view on these important issues. I warmly endorse its contents and wish for it a wide circulation.'To read the full review from Evangelical Times (March 2007) click here
'This booklet is excellent! Each of the sections is Biblical, brief and simply explained. This kind of writing is a gift, and Bill has been blessed with it. There are more in-depth works mentioned for further reading, but in my opinion this is the best I know of this size that is distinctly reformed and baptistic in its theology. I am very pleased to have this available and shall use this in future with those who are ready for Baptism and Church membership, and for those who are still unsure how they stand before the Lord. I heartily recommend this little work to you.' To read the full review from Grace Magazine (April 2007) click here
