Salvation! God’s work or ours?  Does it matter?  Every Christian without exception needs to know where he or she stands with regard to salvation.  Did I save myself or did God save me?  Obviously I saved myself by obeying the gospel, I repented and I believed.  However with regard to repentance and faith - was that me or was it God’s gift to me?  In other words, who initiated the process and who directed me in the first place?

It does matter!
